| Project Review / Client Support |
|
 |
| Long Beach Logistics often works
with clients during the initial project review process. We provide
information in areas of transport costs, clearances, cargo protection,
re-design of cargo for either transport cost reduction or increasing
project efficiency in building pre-fabricated / modular design.
We work with suppliers in the movement of cargo and meeting transport
budgets and delivery schedules at project sites. Often we perform
project reviews (world wide) to identify any and all restrictions
in regards to the movement of these goods to ultimate destination.
As part of the project team, our insight and planning will address
areas of concern that normally is not addressed until the actual
movement of cargo takes place. Our hands on pro-active approach
to transportation and logistics identify many areas that can
become costly if not addressed in the early stages of a project.
Our approach provides for options that can eliminate bottlenecks
and save dollars. |

| The Long Beach Logistic logistics
plan is designed to support the overall flow of cargo to the
project site and meet the overall construction schedule. The
material flow is designed to satisfy the needs of the end user
in meeting specific milestones during construction. The use of
marshalling and consolidation yards worldwide is used to consolidate
shipments to support specific needs. The use of these facilities
reduces congestion at the project site, as well as assists to
maintain control of delivered cargo. These facilities provide
inspection of equipment before cargo is shipped to the project
site. Export crating, boxing; saddles and cribbing services can
also be performed in these faculties. This funneling system enhances
overall operations and enables the preparation of all export
documentation. |
